For me shower tools are very important because with one arm some things are not easy in bathroom. Before I needed more time for washing and some places were difficult to clean good. Especially back, shoulder, and under arm area. It was little frustrating sometimes because normal shower things are made for two hands. After some time I started to look for simple tools that can help me do shower more easy.
One thing that helped me a lot was wall brush with suction cups. This is good because it stays on tile and I do not need to hold it. I can move my body against it and clean back or side better. It is simple thing but very useful for one arm life. Also I like that it does not take much space in shower.
Another useful thing for me is long handle sponge. With this I can reach more places without too much problem. Before I could not wash my back good, but with long handle it became much better. Sometimes handle must be not too heavy, because then it is more comfortable to use with one hand only.
Also pump bottle for soap or shampoo is better than normal bottle. Normal bottle can slip or move and then it is annoying. Pump bottle is more easy because I can use one hand and get soap fast. Same with soap dispenser fixed on wall, this also helps a lot.
Non slip mat is also important. When you only have one arm, balance is very important in shower. If floor is slippery it can be dangerous. So for me safety tools are also shower tools, not only washing tools.
I think small bathroom accessories can make big difference. Maybe for other people they look normal or not special, but for one arm person they can save time and energy every day. Best tools for me are the ones that stay fixed, are light, and are easy to use with one hand. Little by little I found what works for me, and now shower is much more comfortable.
